Camille G. Hicks
/wine enthusiast/cerified wine sommelier
Camille is the owner of A Perfect Pairing Wine Group. She enjoys hosting wine tastings and educational classes as well as planning wine events. Camille fell in love with wine at the age of 13 by being introduced to wine by her Uncle Marvin from Barcelona, Spain. Wine intrigued her and after turning 21, spending many years visiting wineries, attending tastings and dinners and exploring the world of wine, Camille officially started her career in the wine industry in 2009. Later that year she created her first wine label, Colere Wines Muscat Blanc, followed by Hube Wines Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. In 2010 Camille became a Certified Wine Sommelier. She is a foodie and enjoys the thrill of always searching for a perfect pairing... her excuse to eat and drink wine on the regular. Camille is from Missouri City, TX, a suburb of Houston, TX where she currently resides with her Jack Russell dog-child, Ginger. She attended Texas A&M University where she received a degree in Agricultural Development. Camille enjoys sharing her passion for wine, agriculture and traveling with others through wine events and tastings. Her knowledge, personality and passion gives her a unique and creative perspective on wine tasting and allows her to create a memorable experience for her clients.
Camille is known for her creative and detailed wine events. She has a diverse and eclectic group of wine followers and is always excited to expand what she refers to as her circle of "wine friends". Camille is a Wine Steward at Vine Wine Room in Houston, TX in addition to hosting private wine tastings and events.
